This pair of designs depicts the two unofficial halves of UCLA: North Campus, home of the Arts and Humanities, and South Campus, which houses the Sciences.

These designs were commissioned as a fundraiser by the UCLA Chapter (Beta Psi) of the Phi Mu Alpha fraternity (also known as Sinfonia). The original goal was to sell a few dozen shirts to cover the newly forming fraternity's charter. But due to overwhelming popularity, the designs ended up earning them tens of thousands of dollars.
